Frequently Asked Questions

What are the installation requirements?

  1. 4-inch thick reinforced concrete slab containing rebar or wire mesh. Most garage pads have this thickness of concrete.
  2. For new construction and home additions, we can install the safe room in conjunction with your contractor and turn any closet into a safe room.
  3. Outside patios typically do not have the required 4-inch thick reinforced slab and require additional concrete work to be completed prior to installation. Approved concrete requirements can be provided to your contractor in order to meet standards required by FEMA 320/361 & ICC-500.

All prices include delivery and installation.
